In Cravanzana, in the heart of the Alta Langa
Cascina Prato is located a few steps from Cravanzana, the “country of the hazelnut”, near the intersection called “la Crociera (the Cruise)”, which has always been a crossing point between the Belbo and Bormida valleys.
The farmhouse was built in 1808 and it is owned by our family since the early 1900s.
A place to find a warm welcome and great flavours
Today there are three generations, two of which alternate to follow the different jobs in the company. From the only production of hazelnuts we moved on to accommodate tourists who,increasingly, come to visit the Alta Langa; now the offer is made complete with catering, based on traditional local dishes and with products from our garden and orchard, destined to our kitchen.
