Cravanzana is situated a 583 m (above sea level) on the dorsal in the centre of Alta Langa where there is a group of hills reaching the altitude of 900 m. This makes up an area of woods and pasture-land where the agriculture is less intensive and it is easy to find little farmhouses.
The Cascina Prato holiday-farm is on some itineraries which enable you to enjoy walking through woods and hazelnut orchards and two ways for riding bikes that permit to discover small villages surrounded by wonderful landscapes and a quiet way of life.
From the farmhouse Prato you can easily (by car half an hour) reach these cities: Alba, Asti, Acqui Terme and the surrounding areas famous for its vineyards, which produce red wine such as Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera and Dolcetto. These hills also produce famous white wine, such as Asti Spumante and Moscato naturale (which is more fruity and not sparkling) which the people of valle Belbo are proud of. The area is rich of typical restaurants which offer an extraordinary cuisine, and a variety of local products including the appreciated white truffle.
